BEER COASTER – CENTRAL COAST BEER DISCOVERY TOUR
Journey to the Central Coast to discover their thriving beer scene! Start the journey with a quick stop off at the Flat Rock Brew Café to learn about the brewing process, taste some amazing beers and get set for the journey up the freeway. Next stop is Block ‘n’ Tackle in the heart of Kincumber where a tasting paddle awaits!
We then head on to a delicious lunch at a cool craft beer pub, then finish our exploration with a visit to the Six Strings Brewery in Erina with more beers to savour, and more beer knowledge to be found, before heading back down the freeway to Sydney.
Number of guests per tour – this Central Coast brewery Tour accommodates a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 11 guests (get in touch for information on larger group sizes). Your order will be confirmed once we have filled 8seats.
WHERE YOU WILL GO
-
The boys behind Six String Brewing have combined their love for music, the coast, and beer to create a mecca for those who share their passions. Tasting their core range and a selection of new releases, we grab a bite to eat from their delicious menu, enjoy lunch in the tasting bar, and maybe even get a chance to enjoy some live music.
-
Perhaps one of Australia’s smallest breweries, Block and Tackle is the newest beer stop on the Sydney Beer Coaster tour. Very much a community-focused brewery, you get to try their beers, check out the space, and learn what it takes to live the dream of owning your own brewery.
-
One of the finest brewpubs in Sydney, Flat Rock Brew Cafe is a hidden gem on the lower North shore. With a growing reputation for traditional ales and saisons, the scale of the nano brewery certainly doesn’t limit creativity. With a bit of luck, you may even get to sample some of the famous barrel aged beers they keep hidden away downstairs.
-
Part of the local scene since 1927 and one of our favourite city pubs, The Royal Albert Hotel (or “Alby”) offers a stunning array of craft beers and ciders with true local pub hospitality. Well known for its Tap Takeovers where a craft brewer gets exclusive access to their eight taps and two hand pumps, it is the perfect place to end the day.
SOMETIMES THINGS CHANGE – Because our Sydney brewery tours are truly behind the scenes experiences sometimes our plans need to change to accommodate brewery operations. And sometimes we just know about beer goings on around town that are worth checking out, so we may change some parts of our tours. Whilst these changes are rare, we do reserve the right to make them. If you do have a MUST-SEE beer spot, please let us know when making your booking and we’ll do all we can to make it happen.
