This experience takes you to Australia’s oldest pub and some of its oldest buildings, where you’ll hear captivating tales of early settlers, convict heritage, maritime legends, and the rise of Hobart’s social scene, all narrated with a dose of humour and enthusiasm by your expert guide, Dave.
As you stroll through the charming streets of Hobart’s waterfront and historic districts, you’ll stop at four local watering holes where you’ll enjoy samples of Tasmania’s finest craft beers, ciders, and wine, all made on the island.

Things You Should Know
- Alcohol is part of this tour, therefore you need to be 18+ to tour
- We cannot guarantee the kitchens of Hobart will stay open for our night tours, so if you get ‘hangry’ best to eat pre tour (or maybe do a food tour beforehand with us eh?)
- This is a walking tour, it may not be great if you’re not mobile. Hobart isn’t the flattest place and there are uneven surfaces. The minimum distance we would cover would be 1.5km (close to a mile for our US mates)
- We can do a wheelchair friendly version of this tour, you just need to advise us before you book.
